About: Known as one of Australia’s biggest sport compact, drag racing and car culture events, this time Queensland Raceway has dedicated an entire evening to the 29th Annual Street Series. With seven separate rounds plus the finals, this is a race not to be missed for both spectators and drivers alike.
What: Wheels Through Time Rally
Where: Old Petrie Town, 901 Dayboro Road, Whiteside
When: 10:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday 8 October and Sunday 9 October
About: Showcasing a vast collection of steam engines, farm machinery, classic cars, vintage trucks, and other automotive memorabilia from a bygone era, Wheels Through Time will also be operating alongside a variety of market stalls and food trucks. As a family friendly event, visitors are also encouraged to explore Petrie’s museums and local stores as well.
What: Classic Land Cruiser Exhibition And Car Show
Where: Caboolture Showgrounds, 140 Beerburrum Road, Caboolture
When: 10:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 15 October
About: To celebrate the culture and continued preservation of classic Toyota Land Cruisers, this one day celebration will include a competition car show with an awards ceremony at the end of the day, industry celebrities in attendance for ‘meet greets’ and special panels, plus plenty of Land Cruiser specific and 4WD industry vendors with stalls and product demonstrations.
What: Cars And Coffee At Link Drive
Where: On The Run Cafe, Unit 1, 53-57 Link Drive, Yatala
When: 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday 15 October
About: Brisbane Car Meets And Cruising Inc. has teamed up with On The Run Cafe to bring local revheads the newest, latest and greatest event for enthusiasts to hit South East Queensland. As a regular event held on the third Saturday of each month, it’s a great opportunity for car lovers to get to know kindred spirits in their local community.
What: Munch Inn Show ‘N Shine
Where: Acacia Ridge Shopping Centre, 28 Elizabeth Street, Acacia Ridge
When: 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Friday 28 October
About: As one of the most well known monthly car meets in the Greater Brisbane region, this well respected gang of revheads is hosted by the Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club. Held in the car park via the Mitchell Street entry, come down and check out the collection of vintage and collectors cars on show.
