About: Known as one of Australia’s biggest sport compact, drag racing and car culture events, Queensland Raceway has dedicated an entire weekend to celebrate the annual Garrett Brisbane Jamboree. About: Brisbane Car Meets And Cruising Inc. has teamed up with On The Run Cafe to bring local revheads the newest, latest and greatest event for enthusiasts to hit South East Queensland. As a regular event held on the third Saturday of each month, it’s a great opportunity for car lovers to get to know kindred spirits in their local community.
What: Bad Ideas Cruise Show ‘N Shine
Where: Lakeside Park Raceway, Lakeside Road, Kurwongbah
When: 12:00pm to 4:00pm Sunday 14 August
About: Although Bad Ideas is a car community in Brisbane with over six thousand fans, this August event marks their very first Cruise Show ‘N Shine session at the Lakeside Raceway. While track events will be happening all day, cruising sessions start at 1:30pm, with trophies on offer for ‘Best In Show’, ‘Best Engine Bay’, ‘Best Stance’ and much more.
